We will head straight to Los Alcornocales natural park and we will drive through a gorgeous road where only vehicles with permits can access. This 3 hour hike is a medium difficulty hike as we will hike up to access the valley with special protection status where we will find the subtropical forest laurisilva. Within all of mainland Europe, this type of forest can only be found in this natural park. We will also hike in cork oak forest, as it is the largest cork oak forest in Spain, and Mediterranean shrubs and forest.
We can even arrange lunch for you at the end of the hike in an old venta that only opens privately in this place in the heart of this natural park where Luisa still cooks on the fire. If you do not want any lunch we will head back to your hotel.
