Purpose of the website

This website is intended to provide information about the restaurant, its menu and its location, and to enable visitors to book a table through a third-party service (CoverManager) embedded in the site.

Terms of use

Access to the website is free and does not require prior registration. Users agree to make appropriate use of the content, not to use it for activities contrary to law, morality, public order or third-party rights, and not to engage in actions that may damage, overload or impair the website or prevent other users from enjoying it.

Intellectual and industrial property

All content on the website (text, photographs, design, logos, source code, etc.) is the property of the owner or its rightful licensors and is protected under Spanish and international intellectual and industrial property law. Reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation is prohibited without the owner’s express written consent.

The name “La Judería de Vejer” and other distinctive signs appearing on the website are trade names and trademarks used by the owner; their use by third parties without authorisation is prohibited.

The website may contain links to or embedded content from third-party services (for example, Google Maps, Matterport, CoverManager or social networks). The owner is not responsible for the content, privacy practices or availability of such services, which are governed by their own terms.

Limitation of liability

The owner endeavours to keep the information on the website up to date and accurate, but cannot guarantee the absence of errors or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owner shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of the website or the inability to access it.

Gift voucher purchase

The gift voucher purchase service of Restaurante La Judería de Vejer is provided under this Legal Notice and by Restauración Intervejer S.L. (Spanish Tax ID B90358920), registered at Calle Judería 3A, 11150 Vejer de la Frontera (Cádiz, Spain).

The purchase flow is served at the /regalar and /bono/{code} paths of this domain by a dedicated e-commerce application. Issuance of the voucher, delivery to the recipient (where applicable) and redemption at the restaurant are governed by the particular conditions shown during checkout and by this section.

Payment is processed through Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. as payment service provider. Restauración Intervejer S.L. does not store the buyer’s full card details at any time.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the issue date, unless a different period is stated on the voucher itself. After that date the voucher loses its validity and is neither redeemable nor refundable.

Vouchers are bearer instruments identified by an alphanumeric code. Presenting the code at the restaurant is sufficient for redemption. Restauración Intervejer S.L. is not liable for misuse of a code that the buyer or recipient has shared with third parties.

Refunds and right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article 103(l) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 on the Defence of Consumers and Users, gift vouchers for hospitality services with a specific date or period of performance are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

Notwithstanding the above, the buyer may request the cancellation of an unredeemed voucher within 14 calendar days after purchase by writing to booking@lajuderiadevejer.com and stating the voucher code. In that case, a full refund will be issued through the same means of payment used for the purchase.

Once the voucher has been redeemed or the period above has expired, no refund will be granted. If the voucher expires unredeemed, no refund is possible.

Complaints may be filed with the competent Spanish Consumer Arbitration Board. Official complaint forms are available to the consumer at the physical premises.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from the use of the website shall be submitted to the courts of Cádiz (Spain), unless mandatory legislation provides otherwise, in particular where the user qualifies as a consumer.
